EONIA: (Greek) eternity

COLLECTIVE: done by people acting as a group.

 

My collection of stickers and other art is deeply inspired by my experiences of the intricate & interwoven ecosystem of humans & nature down here, where I have grown up, in the Florida jungle.

The collection began with the thought “we are all one.”

Each of us a physical being with the same capacity for emotional intelligence but experiencing each emotion through vastly different life paths. Although life can seemingly be chaotic at times I find peace and simplicity in the sentiment:

we are all one.

​

I think of this sentiment as the groundwork for all life on our planet. The flowers, the birds, the bees, the sun, our waterways - the trees, humans.

We inhabit earth and earth inhabits us - everything works together to keep life thriving.

​

To take a step back and think about just how harmoniously everything works is awe inspiring.

​

Above all of the intricacies and complications of life, when I come back to this one sentiment -

I can see and experience life so simply.  

​

I want Eonia Collective to embrace this sentiment to emphasize that life isn't as difficult as we may create it to be in our minds - but to slow down, to treat ourselves each other and this Earth with kindness, patience & love.

​

I think even the smallest forms of positivity in our lives, such as a sticker,

can make a huge impact on the world as a whole.
